Waitrose launches Heston Blumenthal Lazy Mandarin Negroni

UK retail Waitrose is introducing a addition to its celebrity partnership Retail Brand Heston from Waitrose range –  Lazy Mandarin Negroni.

Heston’s twist on the classic Italian cocktail has the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness, and the infusion of mandarin extract creates a refreshing and fruity aftertaste.

Heston Blumenthal says: “Negroni has always been my drink of choice with its acidity and bitterness creating the perfect palette cleanser. For me, the orange notes are critical for the overall flavor of a negroni and I’ll be serving mine with a twist and squeeze of mandarin peel along with a sprig of fresh thyme to really accentuate the characteristics of this classic cocktail.”

This negroni is truly lazy and can just be poured straight over ice, or for those wanting to channel their inner mixologist, combine 50ml of the negroni with 25ml of prosecco to create a delicious Negroni Sbagliato.
